The rooms were really good and clean. But what stood out to me is the attentiveness and care of the staff especially sir Harvey their bellman. I accidentally left my work phone in night safari and he stayed up with us until 12 midnight. He helped us call night safari and arrange the delivery of my phone in the hotel. The next morning he was also in the concierge area and helped us follow up with night safari again. He took the lead and was able to calm me down during the entire situation. Thank you, sir Harvey! To Sofitel, please ensure you keep these kind of people in your team.

Une arrivée décevante : suite réservée située à un étage moyen (1112) alors que la réservation était ancienne et que je suis quand même All Platinum. Impression qu'ayant utilisé un "suite upgrade" cette suite était bien suffisante pour un client qui ne paye pas le prix fort...Heureusement, si je peux dire!, le système d'ouverture de la porte étant défaillant : la clé nous a refusé l'ouverture à trois reprises en un peu plus de 12h, dès le lendemain matin une nouvelle suite nous a été proposée, 1812, et il n'y plus aucun problème. Très belle suite, vue dégagée. Le salon permet de travailler, de se détendre ou de manger, grande table, de façon très confortable avec toilettes et lavabo indépendants. La chambre est bien séparée avec grande salle d'eau et toilettes. Lit très grand et très confortable. Enfin rideaux et occultants électriques. Service en chambre efficace. Excellent restaurant et club intimiste et bien fourni selon l'heure de la journée. Tout le personnel de la réception au restaurant est très attentif à prévenir les demandes des clients. Bref ce fut un excellent séjour, il aurait été parfait en étant directement placé à un étage élevé comme souhaité.

Overall I have a good stay with Sofitel, only small issue with my room with aircond after checked in. The same issue happened twice but it got fixed on second occurrence. Hotel management is very prompt to fix the issue and even offer for a room change, but I was too tired after a long day so do not want to switch to another room. Breakfast is ok with limited choice, grab a quick bit and enjoy a cup of coffee before start the long day meeting was just fine. Only thing is the guys working in the kitchen to prepare the egg upon order was not attentive and make you wait until he finished his work, may be short of staff but I’m not sure. Overall the hotel staff is pretty nice especially the check in counter.
