DO NOT stay at this hotel… We Stayed is this hotel for 4 nights on a short break as have stayed before and was happy. Our issues were initially with the TV that had a dark line down the right side cutting out some of the pictures. Reported to front desk with no fix done. Air control unit in room is restricted in what settings you can use. You have to go down to the front desk and they set the temp and fan speed for you. WOKE rubbish. Breakfast used to be a nice buffet. Not any more. Ala cart only with vey restricted menu. We ordered scrambled eggs only for by wife without any bread. This was of menu so was charged extra cost. When food arrived at table was only ONE egg scrambled and the cook had added pepper!!! so that it was really not edible. Staff ordered new scrambled eggs. When arrived at the table it was a reasonable size however the cook had added a large amount of Salt in the eggs. Can only be out of spite as we complained about the first attempt. This was just unbelievable. I ordered the full breakfast. Bacon not cooked fully and extra sausages raw in the middle. Had to pay extra for the sausages as not on menu. The worst part of our Breakfast experience is we had to pay extra for our coffee that was dispensed by automatic machine $6.00 for the self serve !!!!. Not interested in excuses. Not good enough. I spoke directly with hotel manager who had no real explanation other than saving money. This hotel does not deserve the Accor name. As Accor members, which is expensive, we expect much better. We ate off site as a result of this hotels cheap attitude and poor food. I will mention the front of house staff were very good. The issue is with the morning cook and the manager who needs to sort out the issues.

Just went to get in the lift to go to our room when a gentleman comes out of the lift with an electric scooter. Not good. Watch UTube ( Battery to Bomb.) 4 seconds and boom . No more elevator or body parts . Not very safety conscious here. Maybe after the Big Bang someone will do something about these scooter riders. Bad enough electric cars catching fire 🔥

Everything was top notch, from the check in, to the check out!! Even though we were only there for three nights this time, everything was amazing. We needed the accessible room for my husband and it was perfect for him. His safety was my main concern and the bathroom met all his needs perfectly.

Clean and tidy. Some noises at night from other guests, but I needed a place to stay the night as my wife was unexpectedly admitted to hospital and as we live in a country area, I need somewhere to sleep that night before heading back home some 3 hours away.

Raj and the team run a fantastic hotel. Conveniently located, good parking, well maintained and clean. We stay at many Accor hotels and the Mecure Sunshine Coast is one of our favourites due in a large part to the fabulous group of people that work there.
