This hotel is amazing for families, very children orientated. The rooms are so colorful and kid themed. The theme park and water park is so close by to hotel which is great in the heat. The food options are great also. The staff are so accommodating and service is perfect.

Great Room & Water Park – But Overall Disappointed

**Just returned from a 1-week stay at Land of Legends, and here’s my honest review.** We went during the half-term week and stayed in a Deluxe Room at the Kingdom Hotel. --- **Room – 5/5** The room was fantastic—spacious, spotless, and with incredibly comfortable beds (possibly the best I've had in any hotel). The minibar had a few drinks and snacks, and the bathroom had a large shower and great amenities. Air conditioning worked really well—too well at times! We had to turn it off as it got so cold. Our balcony had a nice view of part of the park and the shopping area. No issues with maintenance—room was in top condition. --- **Hotel – 2/5** The hotel looks great and is very clean. Reception offers free pick 'n' mix, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, there’s very little to do—especially in the evenings. No entertainment apart from a kids’ club. The spa prices are ridiculous (£150 for a 30-minute massage), and there's only one restaurant and one bar for the whole hotel. For its size, it felt strangely empty of features or atmosphere. --- **Water Park – 3.5/5** We enjoyed the water park overall. The slides that were open were fun, it felt safe, and queue times (besides Turtle Coaster) were manageable. However: * A large number of slides were closed all week—especially the whole left-hand section of the park, including the big family rafts and the volcano-style Master Blaster. * The all-inclusive offering here was disappointing. Only one lunch venue (Mungo's), which served the same food as the hotel. Limited drinks, few participating bars, and barely any snack options (besides ice cream). Felt like a missed opportunity for a place with so much potential. **Theme Park – 2/5** Hyper Coaster and Water Coaster were fantastic, but again—many rides were shut or broken. Even in the brand-new Nickelodeon Land, two of the biggest rides were closed the whole week. Limited drink stations, and the soft-serve ice cream machine was out of order the entire stay. --- **Shopping Area – 2/5** Huge but filled with overpriced designer stores. To give an idea: * Pringles were £15, Prime drinks £20 * A small toy at the Nickelodeon store was £50 (bought the same one on Amazon later for £10) Mostly clothing shops, with one food court near Nickelodeon Land and a small market-style shop. McDonald’s was a nightmare—waited 30 minutes for a simple Sprite float, and it wasn’t even busy. The fountain shows were nice, and the boat parade was okay but started very late most nights. You can pay a lot for a very short boat ride through the canal. Again, nice environment, but not good value. --- **Rixos Hotel Day Trip – 5/5** Highlight of the trip. We took the free day trip to the Rixos sister beach hotel and it was amazing—great food and drinks, table service, plenty of snacks, beautiful pool and beach. You only get a few hours there, but it felt like a proper 5-star experience. Tip: Book your ticket the day before at guest services. Don’t bring towels—they’re provided. --- **Final Verdict** Honestly, I wish we had just stayed at the Rixos hotel and used the free day trip to Land of Legends. You can easily see the whole park in one day. There were some good parts—especially the room and water park—but too many rides were closed, food was repetitive, and entertainment was lacking. Sadly, I wouldn’t return. --

Great trip with the kids

It was one of the best experiences in my life, the kids had loads of fun. The staff were nice and welcoming especially Haye and Reyan from guest relations, they helped us since they speak Arabic and guided us through our stay . The food was great and delicious, the access to the theme park was easy. The kids had so much fun in the water park.

May half term trip

Positives Our room was upgraded it was spacious and well themed, stocked with handy extras, great balconies overlooking the entertainment and castle. The food in the main restaurant was good. The hotel is exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly, they made a real fuss of our 2 year old. We had fast track everyday in the park, the park wasn’t especially busy at any time but it did come in handy for a few rides. The arcades are free to use which was great and the kids loved playing every time we walked to the restaurant. There is also a games area where our son played Fortnite and we had a PS4 and projector in our room which was a nice addition. The kids club was a smart set up, unlimited and they took from 2 years old. A few changes are needed to leave a 2 year old there to make it a proper baby service e.g nappy change, room locked down, proper ratios etc currently you need to check on baby every hour and return to nappy change etc which means you can’t go far. the hyper coaster is a great seriously fun ride and considering it was less than 10 mins queue without fast track pretty much all week is right up there. The turtle coaster in the water park is also one of the best water rides I can recall, think bobsleigh and getting absolutely soaked. We had a personal guide who was available throughout, they text us everyday or when swapping shifts to check how we were doing, we didn’t use them for much but never had anything like that before. Negatives, only because we may return and would like this improved; Evening Entertainment started 25 mins late, it was then a complex ballet show that lasted 15 minutes which was not appropriate for young kids or families. Strange choice for a family resort. Lack of other options e.g in the hotel. The only place you can eat lunch was 1 restaurant in the water park, I really don’t see why they don’t add a few other fast food type outlets to the all inclusive package, it was often quite a long walk to get there. The all inclusive in the park is limited and a bit naf and this is where you spend most of your time. Poor drink options and loads of nicer food and drink on offer if you pay more. You are effectively in the park and with members of the public through the whole holiday, the beach type pool has a section for hotel guests only but there’s no real difference, sunbeds were the same basic spec and no bed service on drinks etc you would expect from a decent hotel. The trip to the rixos premium resort was too short, it was 3 hours and whilst it was a fantastic resort it is a lot of faff for a family of 5 for such a short period. I asked if we could cab it over earlier and come back on the bus but apparently this wasn’t allowed. The lunch there was far superior (like night and day) sunbeds much more luxurious and much more variation on the all inclusive drink options all served to your sunbed by waiting staff on skates. The theme park is a bit limited in terms of thrill rides if under 1.3m like our 7 year old son. The WiFi on the hotel and in the park are rubbish. Spa treatments all very overpriced, small teddies £30 each making Disney look cheap. Room service not included

We are a family of four and stayed in the Land of Legends from the 22nd to the 29th May. For ease of reading i will break this up into two sections, pros and cons: Pros: The water park is a short walk from the hotel and is huge. Wear comfortable walking shoes as there is a lot of walking. The dolphin show was brilliant and one of the best I've seen. The hotel is child themed and has plenty for children to do. My children are 9 and 10 and enjoyed the gaming area, water park and the sweets in the lobby. Younger children seemed to love the character entertainers at breakfast and the shows and kids club. The kids club is also fab, my children visited for the pottery making activity and woodwork. My daughter also had her nails painted and face paint. Staff are very friendly. Bercin in guest relations went out of her way to help us when we encountered issues with our room. The buffet was vast and there was enough to choose from but the mains can get repetitive. There are a-lot of sweet treats with regular servings of candy floss, toffee apples and lollies. The kids loved this! Access to Rixos premium belek is a plus point. It is a slower paced hotel so ideal for relaxing. The food is also of a much higher quality both in taste and presentation. The Godiva cafe serves delicious desserts and the San Sebastian cheesecake with chocolate was delicious. It is nice to visit however my children did get bored. Cons: We had an issue with the first room we were given. It required a deep clean due to stains on the carpet, mouldy shower, marks on the mirrors and a broken sink. I alerted guest relations and easyjet holidays. Bercin supported us to change to a superior room asap with a great view. She also arranged an anniversary cake and robes for my children. Guests of land of legends do not have fast track access and the waiting times for rides can be long. The hotel should consider giving at least one days fast track access so guests can enjoy all the rides. Lunch is served in the land of legends Mungo restaurant and you can get drinks and ice creams at various kingdom points. Once you locate these it makes things much easier. The hotel should consider serving a light lunch in the hotel for patrons who do not want to go into the park each day, such as soup, sandwiches, salads, pizza, chips etc. I feel this would enhance the experience. Overall, we had a wonderful time and feel like we were able to enjoy all that Land of Legends had to offer.
