Wow - What a beautiful hotel - easy walking distance to everything - we were upgraded to a suite, easily in the top ten hotels we have stayed in the States - Fairmont again wins the award - attention to detail - fantastic service - location - nothing is too much trouble for the staff - exceptional

I stayed 5 days and felt like at home. All the staff was very cary and always ready for any kind of necessity The hotel is really wonderful and the location is simply perfect for catching the lifts for the ski slopes

We stayed her ffor two nights in a Gold Room at the end of April 2025. I was a bit worried when I drove up to see a large dance group staying at the hotel. It took us 1 hour to park / valet the car. Other issues : no chairs by the pool, crowded Gold Room for meals with lots of children, noisy halls at night, shuttle couldn’t make it in the driveway, and packed common areas and elevators. We know this is not the norm so we will be back but be for-warned that this is a convention hotel hosting events. We did NOT have a relaxing holiday . Management did reverse the parking but we spent $1500 for 2 nights .

Great difficulty checking in - I am a Diamond member, and had used friend and family rate here this stay- I was not aware that one needed a card from the employee - have used this rate intermittently x decades with no trouble - but this time I was not permitted to check in and had to wait over 30 minutes until this could be sorted out - after a long day of work this was very unpleasant and cost me basically the night. This was sorted out eventually, and one of the managers was very helpful the next day, but not the night in question - the experience on check in night was not acceptable to me. Despite decades of coming to Fairmonts and being a Diamond member I was not treated reasonably or courteously.
