The hotel is close to the metro so easy to get into the city. However the quality of the room was shocking. The plug sockets and electricity in our first room did not work. Once moved rooms our room key stopped working a total of seven times on our three day stay. The elevator was broken as well.

Camera di giuste dimensioni e pulita. Il bagno però non aveva né finestre né un sistema di areazione.. il rubinetto del lavandino dava acqua mal odorante e solo fredda.. Pranzo ottimo. Posizione vicina alla metro 5

The hotel is quite nice by itself, although the exterior is getting old and would benefit from some renovations. Service is good, the breakfast was really good. Checking in was perfect, everything went fine. The main downside on arrival is the parking. It's gloomy, with several vehicles that are loaded and covered with stored equipment. It seems the vehicles have not moved for several years. We had trouble with the room. We were on the 5th floor, in an executive room. The glazing is really poor in terms of soundproofing : from the 5th floor you could hear anyone talking a bit loud outside. The walls have been scuffed and damaged, and some of those marks could be easily covered. The TV is really small, but maybe that’s normal in Italy. I know that in France it would be disappointing to have such a small and old screen in a 4 star room. The bathroom was in need of many repairs (I have pictures if needed) : sink tap was broken, ceiling damaged, toilet seat broken. We stayed for 3 nights, and we did not see any refill of the tea bags or coffee pods at all. We were 3 paring adults in the room, and we had only one bathrobe, and two bath towels. Finally, the emergency escape plan on the door of the room is wrong : it points to an exit on the left when exiting the room, whereas the emergency exit is on the right (the plan seems to be the one from the room on the other side of the hallway, everything is on the wrong side on it.) We did manage to have a pleasant stay in Milan, but we are very disappointed with this Novotel, which does not live to the expectations of this kind of 4 star establishment. And it did not live either to the related price we paid. I think it’s necessary to have a good refurbishment of the hotel, rooms and exterior. And maybe let current customers know about the situation. We might have chosen a different hotel from Accor had we known the current condition of this one.
